Abraj Mediterranean Restaurant: Flavorful Mediterranean Cuisine in San Diego

We tried their dinner Chicken kabob and beef kabob plate. All served with rice, side salad, 1/2 pita bread, hummus and lentil soup. Everything was packed with flavor. I would just order lentil soup here than cooking it myself at home to save time. Speaking of saving time, its better to call for pick up. It takes about 20-25min to get the food. Meal also came with side of garlic and tzatziki sauce. We also had banaganoush that came with couple of pita bread, huge portion. Really good. Our bread was all gone. We the remainder of it, we saved for some sliced cucumbers or chips.

After a long search I think I have finally found the place with the best Greek chicken shawarma pita sandwich and rice that I’ve ever had! The food is seasoned, fresh, and made to order. The chicken was tender and flavorful, all the vegetables were crisp, and the rice was cooked to perfection. The portion sizes and the prices are both phenomenal. The owner seems like such a kind man. Very personable! This place is a jewel in San Diego. I’lll definitely be back!

BEST RESTAURANT IN SAN DIEGO. i have been coming here for a couple years now and i have recommended it to everyone i know. the couple who works here are the sweetest humans ever and make me feel like im at home. the food is outstanding and i have never had a bad meal. its now become my favorite hangout spot to take my friends. if i could give it a 100+ stars out of 5 i would. this place is a MUST.

Looking for healthy eats on a Saturday night and came upon this little independently owned modest restaurant. Entrees come with lentils, salad, hummus and bread - food was excellent. I ordered the chicken kebab plate. Owners were so kind and brought my friend a complimentary bowl of lentils after we had ordered and sat down. We will definitely be returning!

The best meal we had during our San Diego visit so far. Everything was fresh and flavorful and authentic. My family devoured the lentil soup and the tender grilled meats with fluffy rice. I will recommend this place to my friends and family and hope to be back for sure!

This place was one of the most authentic Mediterranean places that I have ever eaten. This wonderful couple did everything. All the yogurt sauces were homemade and authentic. The flat bread was fresh and soft. The chicken and beef combination plate was perfectly seasoned and served with salad and perfect hummus. The most delicious baklava EVER. THANK YOU my new friends. 10/10 food best tasting Mediterranean food in the area, owner chef operator and the food is amazing. I always go for the chicken kabob dinner plate. It never fails. The food is made to order so please expect a little time. I do recommend ordering in a head and have patience. Trust me it's worth the wait. I recommend to anybody wanting a tasty, traditional, very good Mediterranean dish. My mother-in-law loves the lamb shank. I recommend to all as well..

But let me assure you, it is absolutely worth the wait. You can tell he takes immense pride in his work; the food is always prepared with meticulous care, cleanly, and beautifully presented. Whenever I'm having cravings for Middle Eastern food, this is my absolute go-to. It's not just delicious; it's also really affordable, and you get a generous amount of food!
